Sunrise Stables Riding Academy

2008 Amateur and/or Amateur Owner Trainer Clinics

With the opening of her new training barn and riding academy, Melissa Moore plans to host a series of 3 to 4 weekends of clinics (and camps) annually. The majority of these clinics/camps are for Advanced Riders and/or Owner Amateur Trainers with significant riding and showing experience. Some clinics/camps are focused on breaking and training the young horse while others are perfect for learning tips for riding, training and showing the seasoned Saddlebred show horse. Most clinics/camps are 1 to 3 days in length featuring Melissa Moore, with some clinics including other renowned trainers who are invited as Melissa’s guests to speak or provide demonstrations on specific topics in their areas of specialty.

Participants may bring their own horse to some camps and clinics or borrow a horse from the Sunrise Stables Riding Academy. Most Camps and Clinics include continental breakfast and lunch daily. Participants are invited to a reception on the first evening of many of the clinics and camps.

The first two clinics are Sunday, February 17th and Monday, February 18th following the ASHA Convention in Lexington. Each is a separate clinic.
